We welcome attendees with wide varieties of experiences, expertise, and backgrounds to join us at the Microsoft Conference Center. Users, contributors, and newcomers can share experiences and learn from one another to solve hard problems and grow a stronger open-source community.
The event will be in-person at the Microsoft Conference Center, Times Square. (11 Times Sq, New York, NY 10036) Wednesday, November 9-10 are talk days, and Friday, November 11th is a tutorial day.
PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies for data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. PyData communities approach data science using many languages, including (but not limited to) Python, Julia, and R.
We aim to be an accessible, community-driven conference, with novice to advanced level presentations. PyData tutorials and talks bring attendees the latest project features along with cutting-edge use cases.
The mission of NumFOCUS is to promote open practices in research, data, and scientific computing by serving as a fiscal sponsor for open source projects and organizing community-driven educational programs.
