The easiest way to reach the IBM RTP Activity Center from downtown Durham is the Durham Freeway South (Hwy 147) exit 6 for Cornwallis Road. Don't worry about the toll road sign as you will exit the freeway before the toll. From downtown Durham, turn left at the top of the Cornwallis exit ramp. Continue past the IBM sign (employees only) until arriving at a stop light intersection with Davis Drive. At the intersection with Davis Drive, turn left into the IBM entrance. Take the first right (before the security gate) and find a parking spot straight ahead.

An alternative route is to take I-40 exit 280 for Davis Drive. If coming from Durham, bear right at the top of the ramp. Follow Davis Drive across the intersection with E. Cornwallis into the IBM entrance. Take the first right (before the security gate) and find a parking spot straight ahead.

There is plenty of free parking to the lake side of the IBM RTP Activity Center. Please don't park in the small lot in from of the venue unless your are using a handicapped space.
