What is PyData?
The PyData conference and workshop is a semi-annual event for scientists, engineers, and data analysts in the Python community. The conference focuses on techniques and tools for management, analytics, and visualization of data of different types and sizes with particular emphasis on big data.
Proceeds from PyData will benefit NumFOCUS, a nonprofit working to support and promote the ongoing research and development of Python open-source computing tools in science and technology.
Python is already the de-facto language for many areas of science and technology. Come join the conversation about its future in data science and analytics, and learn about all the great tools Python offers!

We thank our Proposal Review Committee for their work in narrowing down all the talk and tutorial submissions received for PyData. As a result, we have an incredible schedule of tutorials and talks being presented by top-notch data scientists. We've made sure that sessions will have plenty of time for Q&A.
