Katarina Milosevic and Ioana Gherman are working in Analytics Solutions Centre, a structure which supports the digital transformation of Generali insurance company through development of Data Analytics. They have been working with Deep Learning techniques with which they produce measurable value for areas such as Process automation, Fraud fighting and Investment forecasting. They are particularly interested in Image Analytics area where they are developing solutions which maximize value of unstructured data.
After completing her bachelor degree in Engineering Mathematics at the University of Bristol (UK), followed by a master degree in Computer Science at the University of Oxford (UK), Ioana started her professional career at Polecat, a risk intelligence company in the UK. Since December 2017 she works for Generali as data scientist.
Katarina holds MSc in Mathematics and she is a Data Scientist and an actuary, with over 5 years of experience in Insurance industry. She is passionate about encouraging and promoting women in Data Science.
