Shahnawaz Ahmed

I am a PhD student at Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg, Sweden. My field of study is broadly Quantum Information and Computing with a focus on Quantum Machine Learning. I am interested in the intersection of Physics, Engineering and Code.

I am a developer and maintainer of the package QuTiP: A quantum toolbox in python. I was also a Google Summer of Code 2016 student with Dipy: Diffusion Imaging in python. I have worked on projects ranging from simulating open quantum systems, to predicting protein phosphorylation using big data.
