Today, in the machine learning and artificial intelligence era we are closer to the mind-boggling reality from the Black Mirror TV series than many of us think. This is somehow frightening but certainly exciting vision. The presentation will be a gentle introduction to the analysis of brain signals using the Emotiv EPOC+ low-cost EEG and the MNE Python package. It will cover both theoretical basics, practical examples, and state-of-the-art applications. Including brain activity measurement methods, analysis and visualization of the signal in Python and machine learning methods of "mind reading". The talk will be addressed to audience at all levels.
