Alla is a senior engineer at Man Group. She works in the Data Engineering team that is responsible for building out and running a stable and highly available data platform serving the rest of the company. Her experience is in building concurrent distributed systems and her most recent project involved building a columnar version store for storing large amounts of semi-structured data efficiently.
