After finishing my PhD thesis "Data-Driven Pricing & Optimization" at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2018, I felt it was time to move away from academia and solve real (world) problems. Therefore, I joined GoDataDriven in Amsterdam to work as as a data scientist, where I still work and learn today. Occasionally, I compete in Kaggle competitions to apply (ensembles of) obscure models that would never work in practice.
