Dr Egor Kraev

Egor first learned math in the Russian mathematical tradition, then continued his studies at ETH Zurich, before moving on to economic modeling at the University U of Marlyland. Egor has been doing data science before it was a thing, including economic and human development data analysis for nonprofits in the US, the UK, and Ghana, and 10 years as a quant at UBS then Deutsche Bank. Since two years, Egor has been Head of AI at Mosaic Smart Data Ltd, and has also done side projects using neural networks for molecular optimization, NLP, and other areas. Egor uses pytorch and the Transformer architecture a lot, mostly in grammar-based generative models.
