My background is in Neuroscience, having completed a PhD in neuroscience. As part of my research work, I developed open source libraries to interact with neuroscience data from python. This lead me to move towards programming, and I completed the Faculty Fellowship in 2017. Since then, I have worked in applied machine learning. I started in the commercial sector, and now work on the AI for Good team at Element AI, where we apply machine learning to problems faced by NGOs.
