Bertil Hatt

Bertil has been a data scientist for 20 years and a data science manager for 10. He’s developed algorithms for finance, energy networks, social media, video games; he recently worked on developing Facebook Stories, Deliveroo, helping RentalCars merge with Booking.com and lately building a state of the art experimentation framework at Farfetch. Bertil believes in making data science simple, starting with writing a clear explanation of your organisation, something that five-year-old child could read, something full or links for your analysts to identify your key tables. He has set up systematic data science hiring guidelines, data quality framework and a handbook for data science managers.
