For PyData Córdoba 2018, we are offering scholarship opportunities to those from underrepresented groups, and those who may otherwise be unable to attend the conference. With that purpose, we have two scholarship types: diversity, and student.
So far, we are covering registration fees only, but we will try to offer travel and accommodation support as well. Please fill out this form and we will keep you updated!

Para PyData Córdoba 2018, estamos ofreciendo oportunidades de becas a aquellos grupos subrepresentados, o que de otra manera no podrían asistir a la conferencia. Por ello, tenemos dos modalidades de becas: de diversidad y de estudiante.

One of PyData's goals is to increase awareness and excitement around opportunities for underrepresented groups in software engineering and data analytics. To increase diversity in scientific computing, our outreach program ranges from hosting workshops that introduce programming to young women to encouraging diversity in speakers at PyData.
Uno de los objetivos de PyData es aumentar la conciencia y el entusiasmo en torno a las oportunidades para los grupos minoritarios en ingeniería de software y análisis de datos. Para aumentar la diversidad en la computación científica, nuestro programa de alcance abarca desde la realización de talleres que introducen la programación a las mujeres jóvenes hasta el fomento de la diversidad en las conferencistas de PyData.
Apply for a diversity scholarshipPyData is an event with educational goals, and we want to encourage the participation of students and their insertion into the academic and industry communities. To apply for this scholarship, you should be able to present a valid student certificate on the day of the event.
PyData es un evento con objetivos educativos, y queremos fomentar la participación de los estudiantes y su inserción en la comunidad académica e industrial. Para poder pedir esta beca, tenés que presentar un certificado de estudiante válido el día del evento.
