Keynotes:
Andrada Fiscutean is a technology journalist. She writes about hackers, nation-state malware, women in tech, and startups and companies based in Eastern Europe

Marit Hansen is the Data Protection Commissioner of Land Schleswig-Holstein and Chief of Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz (ULD; in English: Independent Centre for Privacy Protection)

Elisa Celis is a Senior Research Scientist at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at EPFL. Her research focuses on studying social and economic questions that arise in the context of the Internet

WHAT IS

PYDATA

PyData conferences bring together users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The PyData community gathers to discuss how best to apply Python tools, as well as tools using R and Julia, to meet evolving challenges in data management, processing, analytics, and visualization.

We aim to be an accessible, community-driven conference, with tutorials for novices, advanced topical workshops for practitioners, and opportunities for package developers and users to meet in person.
