Lombardi obtained his phd in Math from University of Buenos Aires in 2014. He soon drifted from pure math, namely algebra and topology, to the field of machine learning and data science. As a postdoctoral researcher, he studied the drug-target affinity prediction in bioinformatics. He is know a freelance consultant, also part of the Data Science Program at Fundación Sadosky and yet another soon-to-be CONICET researcher. His research interest in advanced machine learning include recommender systems and graph machine learning. He is always open to dig into real world and actual science applications of machine learning.
