With a research degree in Artificial Intelligence, Uruguayan software engineer Jorge Couchet's professional career spans leading organizations in the Americas and Europe such as IBM, Shell, UNED, Intel and McAfee, one of the world’s most prominent security companies. Currently works at McAfee as a senior Data Scientist architecting and implementing predictive algorithms within large-scale Machine Learning projects to define and resolve cybersecurity problems, extracting hidden patterns from existing data and creating altogether new machine learning products. Passionate reader, lover of mate and good company, Jorge spends his spare time dreaming up new ways to integrate knowledge from across science, history, philosophy and human behavior into projects with “social power” - the ability to harness small and emergent individual interactions to drive large changes in aggregate human behavior.
