Milagro Teruel

I'm a PhD student in Computer Science at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Córdoba, Argentina, under the direction of Laura Alonso Alemany and Marcelo Errecalde. My main research area is Educational Data Mining, where we study methods to find representations for low level data extracted from interactions with educational material. We work with Deep Learning techniques applied to log data from MOOCs and intelligent tutoring systems (ITS). Besides the modeling of the student knowledge and engagement in the same embedding space, we also look for results in interpretability to aid teachers and instructional designers to handle these large volumes of data.
