Malaika is sometimes a data scientist and sometimes a software engineer. After studying statistics and machine learning at Carnegie Mellon university, she worked with Crime Lab New York to develop a record linking algorithm and with Microsoft’s TEALS program to teach coding principles to high schoolers. Malaika likes to debug while listening to musical soundtracks.
