Thomas Caswell

Thomas Caswell is a staff scientist at NSLS-II at Brookhaven National Laboratory building software for experimental data acquisition, management, and analysis for synchrotrons. In this role he applies his training in physics (PhD '14, U. Chicago; BA '07, Cornell) to build software to empower scientists. He has been active in the SciPy ecosystem from 2012 and is currently the lead developer of Matplotlib and a core developer for h5py.
