Abstract

Are you interested in becoming an open source contributor but not sure where to start? Join us for a panel discussion and Q&A to hear from core language and library contributors and maintainers about their experiences contributing to and reviewing contributions to open source. During the Q&A, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about how to get started, what you can expect, or anything else you’ve been wondering about contributing to open source. To help get you started, at the end of the session you can pick from a curated set of open issues on several open source projects that are good for first-time contributors. Come back to the conference having made some progress on your issue, and we’ll reward you with some swag! The open source community looks forward to your contributions.
