What data is useful to a doctor who is not trained in mental health care? How do you make findings actionable? In this session, you’ll hear about lessons learned in starting, scaling, & optimizing data science initiatives at a growing tech company.

Abstract

At NeuroFlow, a mental health company, we’ve built risk stratification, text analysis, and predictive analytics initiatives to enable our users to find and reach their highest-risk patients as soon as possible. This enables our users to be more efficient, and to deliver more personalized, measurement based care even in an area like mental health where they have limited training. This talk is an overview of the lessons we’ve learned from the process of starting, scaling, and deploying data science projects as well as building actionable insights into our data products for health providers.
