Santiago Basulto

I'm a long time software engineer. I started as a backend architect working with Java but fell in love with Python around 2008. I started my own consultancy firm implementing backend services using Django and Python. I was hired around 2011 by Athlete.com, one of the first exercise tracking apps. We collected thousands of training sessions by our users and had the need to process and analyze them. That's when I fell in love with Data processing (who won't love processing GPX files right!).

In 2014 I founded RMOTR, an online programming academy. We have one of the few online, human driven Data Science with Python courses out there (link).
