Lauren Oldja is a social scientist-turned-data scientist and experienced manager of multi-stakeholder projects. In addition to co-chairing PyData NYC this year, she is an organizer of the NYC Python meetup group and a Data Scientist at SparkBeyond. Lauren is a graduate of the Metis Data Science bootcamp and holds a master's degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a bachelor's degree in Urban Planning from MIT.
Eric Fulmer is a software engineer and tech community organizer. A graduate of Stony Brook University, he has worked in many industries and currently works with Farfetch. He is also an organizer of the NYC Python Meetup group.
Michelle Gill is a senior data scientist at BenevolentAI, where she uses artificial intelligence to facilitate pharmaceutical discovery. Previously, Michelle was a deep learning consultant within NVIDIA’s Professional Services Group and a scientist at the National Cancer Institute, where she developed parallelized software utilizing machine learning and compressed sensing algorithms. As a postdoctoral research fellow at Columbia University Medical School, she studied the biological activity of cancer-associated enzymes. She holds a PhD in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University.
