Colin Carroll is a software engineer at MIT’s Center for Civic Media, where he works on Media Cloud, an open source platform for studying media ecosystems. He is also a developer on PyMC3, a Python library for probabilistic programming. He received his PhD in mathematics from Rice University, where he researched geometric measure theory.
