Russell is a data scientist in the laser division of the global semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer ASML. Data scientists in that role derive business value from system data collected on thousands of lasers operating in semiconductor fab environments. Russell holds a PhD from University of California San Diego in Electrical Engineering, and started as a data scientist after learning domain expertise as a systems engineer at ASML and developing a passion for data analysis in Python.
