Colleen M. Farrelly is a Miami, FL, data scientist whose work has spanned biotech, education, military, and quantum computing industries. Her focus is on topological data analysis and geometry-based machine learning algorithms, and she's found several links between statistical model geometry and quantum computing circuitry. Together with Uchenna Chukwu, a software engineer whose prior work has focused on quantum physics and string theory, they form the quantum machine learning research start-up Quantopo, LLC, whose focus is on leveraging quantum computing to create faster and more accurate algorithms based in topology and geometry.
