I run a small Python-based data science consulting and software house in Edinburgh---Stochastic Solutions. We produce our own analysis software and specialize in an approach to data science we call "test-driven data analysis", which looks to borrow inspiration from test-driven development and reproducible research to improve the quality of analytical results.
I am also an organizer of PyData Edinburgh and a Visiting Professor in Maths at Edinburgh University.
