Matti Lyra

I am currently working at comTravo GmbH as a data scientist to make business travel radically simple. I submitted my PhD thesis on document classification using semi-supersvised topically biased ensembles in January 2018. I am interested in natural language, the philosophy of AI, cycling and coffee.

I am an active member of the data science community and have led the organising committee for PyData Berlin since 2016; I have contributed to the development of various data science packages including scikit-learn, gensim, pyldavis and dask.distributed and have given numerous talks at different meetups in Berlin.
