Julia is a data analyst at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) in Reading. She currently looks for solutions to offer a more on-demand access to complex multi-dimensional climate and environmental data. She is a strong advocate for Jupyter Notebooks, using them for documentation, tutorials, geospatial workflow generation and interactive visualizations. Before her current role, Julia was a data scientist at the European Space Agency in Italy. Besides her interest for (geospatial) data science and open data, she is passionate about effective data communication and gender equality at the workplace.
