Alexandr Notchenko

Born and grew up in Moscow. Had fascination with computers and electronics (to all stuff related to science and engineering) since early childhood,

Graduated from BMSTU with degrees ( Specialist of Information Security, Bachelor of Applied Mathematics). Worked in IT for couple of years. "Wobot" Small SNA company in Moscow, and Mirantis (international company, a developer and a distributor of OpenStack). It's those places where I developed my skills as a Python Software Engineer. Later went back to Academia, applied to graduate school at Institute of Information Transmission Problems, department of Neurobiology of Motor Control. 2 years later I dropped out and reapplied to PhD program at Skoltech to do my research in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Except for time I have worked in IT industry, I spent my time professionally what Iater became known as "Data Science". These days I sometimes do some consulting to ML, AI startups on the side.

I'm also one of organizers of Biggest Russian Language Data Science professionals community in Russia (probably all of Eastern Europe) called OpenDataScience. That another story in itself.
