Tiffany Harte

I am an experimental atomic physicist currently completing my PhD in the field of ultracold atoms at the University of Oxford. My research focusses mainly on trapping and manipulating cold atom clouds in novel magnetic and optical potentials with the ultimate goal of simulating otherwise inaccessible quantum systems. You can find a short (three minute!) video describing my research here. When outside the lab I enjoy science communication and Scottish country dancing. Sometimes, with mixed results, I attempt to combine the two.
