Adrien Treuille

Adrien is co-founder and CEO of Streamlit, an open-source tool for machine learning.

Adrien was previously VP of simulation at Zoox, project lead for a Google X project in artificial intelligence, and an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University. He is the co-creator of Foldit and Eterna, crowdsourcing platforms that have enabled over a million computer gamers to help solve real scientific problems. He has given invited talks around the world, including to the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, and has won numerous scientific awards, including the MIT TR35. In 2013, a PBS/NOVA-produced documentary segment about Adrien's life won the AAAS Kavli Award (the "Pulitzer Prize of scientific journalism"). In 2016, he was featured in Lo and Behold, a Werner Herzog documentary about the Internet.
