Honza Král

Honza Král joined Elastic in 2013 to work on python drivers for Elasticsearch. He's also an active member and contributor to the Django (& Python) community.

Anand S

Anand is a co-founder of Gramener, a data science company. He leads a team of data enthusiasts who tell visual stories of insights from analysis. He also helps people build capacity to tell stories from data.

Pooja Rao

Pooja Rao is a medical doctor as well as a machine learning expert. She is R&D head and co-founder at Qure.ai, a Mumbai based start-up applying deep learning to medical images.

WHAT IS

PYDATA

PyData conferences bring together users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The PyData community gathers to discuss how best to apply Python tools, as well as tools using R and Julia, to meet evolving challenges in data management, processing, analytics, and visualization.

We aim to be an accessible, community-driven conference, with tutorials for novices, advanced topical workshops for practitioners, and opportunities for package developers and users to meet in person.
