I am a data scientist working at Mobile.de GmbH, a subsidiary of eBay Classifieds Group and living in Berlin.
I studied computer science at University of Saarland with a focus on Information Retrieval and Data mining. I did my thesis with the Max-Planck Institute of Informatics on the topic of distributed databases. I did my PhD in uncertainty reasoning and knowledge graphs at the chair of Artificial Intelligence in University of Mannheim.
With over 7 years of industrial experience, out of which, over 3 years in building predictive models, applying machine learning to a wide array of problems both in the domain of FinTech and e-commerce, I find anything with data, numbers, statistics, visualization and machine learning exciting. I love to build intelligent systems and enjoy even more in bringing them into production. I find it exciting to solve problems, think over them and find simple solutions to real world problems.
