Vasily Ershov is software developer in Yandex and PhD student in Saint-Petersburg State University. His main responsibilities in Yandex: developing machine learning tools and infrastructure for this tools. Currently Vasily is the main developer of GPU version of gradient boosted decision trees library CatBoost.
