A veteran in Berlin's data science community, Gerrit is currently working as a Sr. Data Scientist at New Yorker and as a trainer for Data Science Retreat. He organizes the Kaggle Berlin community and holds degrees in mathematics and computer science from Freie Universität Berlin as well as 2-year-then-dropout PhD in ML specializing in scaling learning algorithms. Gerrit has year long experience in teaching at university, at DSR, and for companies such as Audi.
