AWS Cloud data collecting with microcontrollers and MicroPython - Michał Sułkiewicz

  • It is absolutely fine if just want to watch and take notes, but if you want to write some code you should have installed Python 3.6.x on your system (newer version can cause problems, but 3.5.x is also fine):
    https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-367/
  • We will be working in PyCharm IDE (Pro or Community Edition):
    https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/
  • And for those who want to program some hardware as well, you can bring your ESP32 or ESP8266 board (but please make sure it is recognised by your system and appropriate drivers are present), with Micropython firmware loaded:
    https://micropython.org/download
  • Also it will be helpful if you had an Amazon Web Services account activated.

The code will be also available on GitHub after the session.
