Jarek is an engineering manager growing the Google Cloud Platform and Warsaw Cloud teams.
After joining Google in 2009, Jarek started to build systems automating operation of the data centers, making them easier to use for Google developers, and improved the datacenter efficiency using historical workload data analysis. Then, Jarek & the team expanded the scope to Public Cloud, again with focus on efficiency and automation, delivering products like Cloud Autoscaler, Developer Console, Cloud Functions, Zync Render and many others. Jarek continues to focus on expanding the automation tools, making cloud more efficient and reliable. In 2014 - 2016, Jarek was also the Warsaw site director, focusing on quick growth of Warsaw Office to adapt to Cloud growth - growing the Warsaw engineering teams from 40 to 150. Since 2016, Jarek is focusing on our Cloud infrastructure, tools to manage the quickly growing Compute Engine and the underlying Datacenter infrastructure supporting all of Google Software.
