Radim open-sourced Gensim, a popular Python library for topic modelling, as part of finishing his PhD in 2011.
Radim quit his job as the director of research at Seznam to start an independent career, exploring South East Asia 💘 while remotely freelancing. In 2014, Radim upgraded his solo ML consulting into RaRe Technologies, a full-package R&D company specialized in the design and implementation of innovative IR and NLP solutions. With clients like Amazon, Hearst or Autodesk, as well as a number of SMEs and early-stage startups, Radim leads a team of world-class data scientists and engineers, promotes open source and mentors university students.
