Conference Overview

We welcome attendees with wide varieties of experiences, expertise, and backgrounds to join us in Tel Aviv for a 1-day conference on December 13th, 2022. PyData Tel Aviv 2022 is where users, contributors, and newcomers can share experiences and learn from one another to solve hard problems and grow a stronger open-source community.

Venue

Expo Tel Aviv

The conference will be located at the Expo Tel Aviv in Tel Aviv, Israel – Hall 10. Most hotels in the area are a short 10-minute taxi from the venue. If you would like more information regarding the venue such as accessibility options, please contact [email protected].

About PyData

PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies for data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. PyData communities approach data science using many languages, including (but not limited to) Python, Julia, and R.

We aim to be an accessible, community-driven conference, with novice to advanced level presentations. PyData tutorials and talks bring attendees the latest project features along with cutting-edge use cases.

NumFOCUS

The mission of NumFOCUS is to promote sustainable high-level programming languages, open code development, and reproducible scientific research. We accomplish this mission through our educational programs and events as well as through fiscal sponsorship of open source scientific computing projects. We aim to increase collaboration and communication within the data science and scientific computing community.

NumFOCUS is a 501(c)3 public charity in the United States.

PyData has an engaged and respectful community made up of people from all over the world. We are committed to creating a productive, professional, and inclusive environment for everyone.
