FAQs

What is the PyData Meetup Leadership Summit

The PyData Meetup Leadership Summit is a one-day event for PyData Meetup chapter organizers from across Europe to come together learn from one another about building and sustaining a successful PyData community. We hope to give chapter organizers new tools and knowledge they can take back to their chapter.

Is there a cost to attend?

Registration is free, but organizers are responsible for their travel and lodging. Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the event but organizers will be responsible for dinners.

Is the agenda final?

No, we want this event to be a valuable event and will look to the participants to help shape the agenda. On the registration form there is an opportunity to share specific things you hope to take away from the event. Your responses will shape the agenda for the day so please be thoughtful and specific. We hope to make the day as interactive and hands-on as possible.

Can we have more than one person from a chapter attend?

Yes, we welcome more than one representative from a chapter to attend. Be sure each person attending submits a registration so we can track the headcount. If for some reason we start to see large numbers of registrations we may consider asking chapters to limit the number of representatives, but we don’t expect that to be the case at this time.

Code of Conduct

Attendees are subject to the NumFOCUS Code of Conduct.

We value the participation of each attendee and want everyone to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to other attendees throughout the event and at all conference-related events, whether officially sponsored by NumFOCUS or not. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event.

We encourage all event attendees to review the complete Code of Conduct.
