Stephen F. Elston is a Principle Consultant at Quantia Analytics, LLC. He is a big data geek, data scientist, instructor, O’Reilly author, and Strata speaker. Steve has over two decades of experience in predictive analytics and machine learning using many platforms, including Python, R, and S/SPLUS. He leads creating solutions in multiple areas including capital markets, fraud detection, image analysis, mobile analytics, real-time analytics for IoT, and forecasting. Steve holds MS and PhD degrees in Geophysics from Princeton University.
