Christopher Roach

Christopher is a Software Engineer at LinkedIn where he leads the team responsible for the software that's used in hiring all of the company's engineers---written in Python, of course. He also uses Python, along with Pandas, Matplotlib, and the rest of the Python scientific stack, to analyze the wealth of hiring data this internal system takes in on a regular basis. Prior to that, he put his Python skills to work as the first hire at a Y-Combinator startup working in the field of dynamic pricing. In addition to this, he's published several Python related articles and video courses for companies such as O'Reilly, MacTech, and Envato. He's also used Python in all of his academic endeavors, working in areas such as Swarm Intelligence, Evolutionary Algorithms, and Social Network Analysis, and he's always on the lookout for the next cool hack.
