Eloisa Elias T
Conference Chair
Eloisa stands as a trailblazer in Seattle’s tech scene, recognized as the Pacific Northwest’s premier open-source event host. As a data scientist and the visionary founder of PyData Seattle under NumFOCUS, she has cultivated a vibrant community for data enthusiasts. She also chairs PyLadies Seattle, empowering women in Python programming.
Her leadership extends to founding the Women in Data Science (WiDS) and Women’s conferences in Seattle, fostering inclusive spaces for learning and collaboration. As a Women Techmakers Ambassador and Databricks MVP, Eloisa amplifies her impact, inspiring countless individuals through mentorship and advocacy.
Serving on the Technical Board at NumFOCUS, Eloisa shapes the strategic direction of open-source scientific computing. Her tireless collaboration with nonprofit tech organizations, city and state governments, and enterprises drives impactful diversity and inclusion programs, uplifting women and underrepresented minorities in tech. -

Pierre Brunelle
Pierre is a co-founder, CEO of Noteable. Pierre Brunelle led Amazon’s notebook initiatives both for internal use as well as for SageMaker. He also worked on many open source initiatives including a standard for Data Quality work and an open source collaboration between Amazon and UC Berkeley to advance AI and machine learning. Pierre helped launch the first Amazon online car leasing store in Europe. At Amazon Pierre also launched a Price Elasticity Service and pushed investments in Probabilistic Programming Frameworks. And Pierre represented Amazon on many occasions to teach Machine Learning or at conferences such as NeurIPS. Pierre also writes about Time in Organization Studies. Pierre holds an MS in Building Engineering from ESTP Paris and an MRes in Decision Sciences and Risk Management from Arts et Métiers ParisTech.

Ryan is currently pursuing both his bachelor’s degree in computer science and his master’s degree in data analytics, building on his background in chemical engineering. He is a Software Engineering Intern at Stoke Space and is passionate about using data and open-source tools to build practical, impactful systems. Over the past four years, he has enjoyed attending PyData meetups, which have provided a great opportunity to learn from and connect with others in the community, and he was excited to give back by serving on the PyData Seattle 2025 Tech Committee.
