Joe McCarthy

Joe McCarthy is a data scientist at Indeed, where he uses Python to research and develop data-driven solutions to help people get jobs. Prior to joining Indeed, Joe worked on predictive healthcare applications at Atigeo and taught computer science undergraduate courses at the University of Washington, including Python-based courses on AI and computational & social intelligence. Joe presented a tutorial on "Python for Data Science" at PyData Seattle 2015 (and shared the associated Jupyter Notebook). Earlier chapters of Joe's career include R&D roles at Nokia, Intel and Accenture, after earning a PhD in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts.
