Kyle Shaffer

Kyle Shaffer is an applied scientist on the Natural Language Experiences group at Microsoft, where he works on building machine learning and NLP methods into end-user applications. Previously, he worked as a data scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, working in applied research at the cross-section of NLP, deep learning, and social media analysis. Kyle earned his M.S. in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2015, specializing in Information Retrieval.
