Eloisa Tran @eloeliasds is a Data Scientist and Tech Community Organizer of PyData Seattle by NumFOCUS which supports and promotes world-class, innovative, top open source scientific computing projects for Data Scientists, including: Pandas, Julia, IPython, Jupyter, Numpy and Matplotlib. PyData Seattle (3 day conference https://pydata.org - Target audience of 1,000 attendees) and the PyData Seattle Tech Community meetup, supporting over 750 local members. In addition, Eloisa is an organizer of the Grace Hopper Celebration GHC/1 Seattle and PyLadies Seattle supporting over 1364 local members (PyLadies, a worldwide group of women developers in Python programming). On May 20th, 2017 Eloisa was part of the Judge Panel at a nationwide Hackathon - ExpeditionHacks Seattle. T-Mobile/Amazon Big Data nationwide Hackathon – Awarded Eloisa the 'Honorable Mention' for developing the Best Big Data Model at the event on March 26, 2017. She is also Six Sigma certified, with 8+ years of practical experience applying statistical analysis and models for improving KPIs at Fortune 500 companies in the area of business intelligence and quality management & systems. Eloisa has an expertise in enterprise customer negotiation involving multi-million dollar projects for manufacturing lines transfer, her portfolio includes: Fiat Chrysler and Volkswagen Group.
