Denis Akhiyarov

Denis Akhiyarov, Senior Consultant in Modeling at one of major engineering companies, is core pythonnet developer and contributor to pythonnet since 2014. Denis Akhiyarov graduated with Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa in 2010. He was passionate about programming since high school, where he learned Pascal. He used this language and numerical simulations to win 3rd place in the national Theoretical Mechanics competition in 2005 as a part of university team. After trying Pascal, Matlab, VBA, Mathematica, and C++/CLI, he decided to settle on C# and Python for solving practical problems at work. Denis is interested in numerical methods, optimization problems, data analytics, and real-time models for providing value to large-scale systems.
