Professionally, he's built stuff to help make decisions for a marketing analytics agency, an online retailer, and an insurer. He's previously authored two books on data analysis with Python. Currently, he's building Nyx Labs with messy financial data... among other things.

Personally, he resides in Seattle, but originally hails from Wichita, KS by way of Lawrence, KS -- the Seattle of Kansas.
