Hello! I am currently a graduate student at University of Chicago at the division of social sciences. I like to apply computational techniques to social science problems, mostly working on natural language processing and statistical learning. I'm also really interested in human's relationships with technology and how it has been changing our lived experiences. I've written a book on NLP, published in the Journal of Machine Learning Research, and have spoken at multiple PyDatas/PyCons. I also really like to boulder/climb, read a lot of books, and dance until my body can't anymore!
