Piero Ferrante

Piero Ferrante is the Principal Data Scientist at Aetna where he and his team focus on creating health and wellness behavior change for millions of lives through designed experiments involving clinical predictive modeling, omnichannel engagement, and applied behavioral economics. In addition, he advises Play-it Health, a digital health startup, on algorithms and data strategy. Piero has over a decade of experience building data science teams and engineering scalable machine learning systems in healthcare, telecom, adtech, and fintech. He holds an MS in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University, a BS in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Delaware, and has taught as adjunct at Kansas University and Rockhurst University.
